Dan Cole is a physical therapist who owns PT Liftology, a cash-pay clinic for athletes and active adults with locations in Cedar Park and Leander, Texas. He is not a web developer, and he does not have a marketing team.
On April 20, 2026 he got a private Mothership assistant on his own subdomain, wired to his website, Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot and Stripe. Since then he has typed what he wants, in plain English, and it has done the work.
Counted from his own chat history on October 23, 2026. Our setup sessions are excluded.
Days he used it, by month:
April starts on the 27th. October runs through the 23rd.
The site took shape through the spring. Since August he hands it bigger jobs: page edits per month have gone up while the number of things he types has gone down. He runs the clinic’s marketing through it now, with fewer, bigger asks.
Every line below is something Dan typed, exactly as he typed it.
“look at my google ads keyword planner and help me plan what keywords to bid for”August
“can you increase bidding for physical therapy open today”August
“hello i need to add negative keywords on my ad can you pull up my ads”August
“on my google ads what headlines have produced the most clicks”September
“please look at my google ads and see why the twin peaks and other neightborhood ad are not working”June
“can yo upull up my google ads and analystics from the past week and give me a rundown”September
“how many times has someone been on ptliftology.com home page in the past 24 hours? and what did they search to get there”August
“how do I improve my AI visitbility”September
“check my google ads metrics for the past month”April
“Are you abel to connect to my streipe payments account? I need to create a discount code for customer checkout”May
“can you conect to my stripe store? we need to build the connecting to the ptliftology.com website. Specifically the CEU courses page”May
“can you look at the ptliftology home page under the two map locations and add in the hours for each clinic. Look on google profile for this information”August
“go to pt liftology course page and change the button that says get notified of new date" to "get notified of upcoming courses" and push changes”June
“yes put autoplay on but make sure that it stays muted until someone clicks on the "unmute" button”June
“please give me link when done thanks”September
An assistant is not an employee. Dan still has Mothership in the loop as his agency, and the assistant sometimes gets a layout wrong on the first try. Here he is in September, placing a photo on a new page:
“you made it worse, not the image is cut off AND the text is all of the way to the left side of my screen”September
“take. asecond to really think about this project and what people will see on the site, do not rush through it.”September
One more correction and ten minutes later it was fixed and pushed. That exchange is the point: he is in control, he says what is wrong in his own words, and it takes the correction.
